Default Buying new wheels and exhaust. Need help

Just bought first car, and the first thing I want to do to my new RSX (06 RSX / Non Type S) is buying a nice set of wheels, and an exhaust. I found this site online for some nice prices on wheel & tire packages ( http://www.wheelfire.com ) but I dont know if these guys are legit, since most of their prices are around the same price range from the knockoff brands to legit brands like Enkeis, etc. Has anyone heard or ordered from these guys? Also I've done some reading and I guess the specs of my rsx wheels are 5lug, 114.3mm (correct me if I'm wrong?) but I dont know for my tires, so can someone provide that for me?

Then for the exhaust, is it recommended to buy the full exhaust system will getting just the muffler do the work?

If you guys have links to where I can get these for cheap / affordable prices and is also legit, please help a noob out. Thanks bros

I'd get a full catback or at LEAST an axleback. Don't buy a muffler and have "Hank" the exhaust guy weld it up. It'll probably look and sound like garbage and you've ruined your low mileage, stock exhaust.

For the wheels I'd look for a set used. This is your first car so I'm assuming you don't have cash to throw around like monkey poo. Also, you could probably try the wheels on your car before you actually buy them.

why not save money and paint your stock rims. i know sounds dumb but after i took off my rims and threw the stock ones on and they were way lighter i wanted to keep them. lol if done right it looks legit. i've had so many ppl say my car looks better with these painted stock rimgs but thats just me. and why exhaust first why not intake?

Ok so I'll save up on the full exhaust. But going back to my other questions, is Wheelfire.com legit? And should I just shop at the crsx store or is there other ways to buy performance parts that are affordable online and is legit. Thanks for replies

Just some advice....

Wheels make or break a car. Cheap wheels look like cheap wheels, period. If you going to do it, do it right. If not, leave it stock.

There is nothing that cracks me up more than seeing a late-model Acura or Honda with a cheap $400 wheel/tire package on it.

Don't be so quick to mod. Do it correctly and you'll be happier in the end.

Half of this is correct. You can be quick to mod a car if you have done research and know what you like. I would not buy wheels from wheelfire.com. I would look at more pics in the DC5 pic thread and see what you would like.
Wheels do on the other hand make a car look great or like ***. Most ofthe better brands are going to be pricey however brands like ROTA make shitty knockoff versions of nice wheels. I would stay away from them at all cost. Enkei or Buddy Club make some nice wheels and are affordable. Try something of that variety.

People with lots of money hate Rotas.
People without much money love Rotas.

I had some Slipstreams on my EG and had no complaints.

I guess I'm forgetting that "JDM wheels are rounder than other wheels."

Would those fit on a base auto RSX 06 (No drop, all stock) ? I'm not trying to really get performance out of the wheels, just want to look nice since wheels are the only thing I'm getting in terms of looks, up next is the exhaust sys, cai, rh, etc.

Also I look at the selection of exhaust systems in CRSX page. Anyone have the vibrant tpv catback exhaust on their rsx? Thanks

No, all of it is correct in terms of the OP. Obviously he doesn't have enough cash to do it right, right now. Hence my suggestion to wait and enjoy the car how it is until it can be done correctly (and he can save cash).

He has a base RSX. It's easier to make that car look good than it is to make it fast.
