Default Problem with my 91 Civic Sedan EX Help!

Ok so I drive the car to the store... come out and it wont turn on wont turn over nothing. The only thing that happens is the door sensor is still beeping nice and loud. My headlights wont even turn on.

And the box under the dash behind the radio (think its my seat belt box) just keeps clicking, really loud.

ANy help?

Thanks

Maybe its an alarm that has been tripped, and you need to push a reset button. Do you have a alarm?

Your starter might be going bad or you just need to trip it.

Good advice. A corroded ground can do the same.

No alarm but I have one of those stupid little key guard things.

I was gonna check the battery make sure its good. (dont see why it wouldnt be)

Ill check the ground didnt really think of that. I checked my fuses nothing.

I dont think the main relay would make the whole car not work, but I dont know.

wouldn't be the main relay. If you key or door beeper is beeping but thats it. No light, radio, starter its most likely a bad ground. I found mine by trying to jump start my car thinking it was a bad battery. It wouldn't start and I moved the (-) jumper cable to the transmission ground and as soon as it touched the radio came on and the car started.
I removed the battery ground with the car running and as soon as i touched it with the wrench it arched. I removed it and sanded the rust off and reconnected and it works great now.

My car did the same thing as you. It was running fine all day and I shut it down at a friends and came back 10min later to leave and nothing. Took 1.5 hours before I figured it out. I went threw all the relays and fuses.

Just pull the 3 or 4 grounds off and clean both sides. Hopefully that fixes for you.

So after everything... It was a bad ground, also I tested the battery and it was getting weak so I chucked it and got a new one too.

Going to do all 4 gauge ground here soon anyways.
