Default Indeys Del Sol Build (SLOWWWW)

Ok so this build will be a lengthy one since I don't have cash just pouring in like I'd like it to, but whatever.

So I traded my 98 ek hatch for this 93 del sol S, it came equipped with a jdm b16a and a bar decal saying it was legal for a 1.8. Obviously this b16 will NOT be staying

I have no clue what color the car actually is, I got it like that from the previous owner but the paint is in terrible shape to me.
So they day I got it, I put on my
-F2 coils
-Password JDM front strut
-ITR Valve Cover
-Konig Heliums
-Rays Lugs
-Mugen Gas Cap
-Fender Washers
-Mugen Lisc Plate Bolts
-Skunk 2 Shift ****
and that was about it.
it also came with
- skunk 2 lca's
- skunk 2 lower tie bar
- skunk 2 first gen front camber kit
- integra rear disc brakes
- tanabe hyper medallion catback
- ebay headlights
- autozone fog lamps in place of the aux lights

I still have a Em racing C pillar bar, headunit, and buddy club bucket seat to install too
Regardless it ended up looking like this

Parked next to our delivery van at work, Ford E250

Shortly thereafter I picked up a set of these

These will be going in hopefully soon....but probably not

I got bored one day and started taking out my rear interior panels to clean em
and...ran into sound deadening...
lots of it
i HATE sound deadening if anyone has a SIMPLE way to get rid of this crap please do let me know, cause this isint oem sound deadening its the odd tin looking kind with tar all over it seen here

This **** spreads all over my doors, floorboard and used to be the whole rear interior area. just taking out the rear interior spot took out 8 lbs of useless weight

So heres a few more pictures of the car and I hope you guys think its not a complete POS

Theres alot coming for it so when it's all said and done im sure it will be nice

so i got rid of the ugly blue fog lights made into aux lights by whoever owned the car last and now it has huge black holes in the front, but!
it sure does look better than this...

now it looks like this...

which i think does look significantly better, but regardless im picking up a set of oem aux lights this saturday! =]

i also replaced a few random bulbs nothing fun or special or anything.. =p

oh and i did also order some fabric for a headliner that im going to try doing so hopefully that will get here soon

So the fabric I ordered for my headliner finally came in, and i got to work!

i started by taking apart the underside of the targa top, which wasnt too difficult

Then I laid my fabric over the headliner, cut it about 1" bigger than the headliner, and started to glue it down one half at a time. (I did one half at a time so i could smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric without disturbing the glue much)

after the glue set, I had to cut holes back into the fabric where the 4 clips were that held the headliner in place, i can honestly say i think that was the hardest part of all of it.

And finally the targa went back in the car!

Overall I'm happy with how it turned out considering it was my first time doing something like that

Looks good man. I actually like the color a lot!

I noticed the heater control is fugly as hell. I have a couple extras in my garage if you're interested in picking one up. PM me if you want one.

If you haven't looked into it, they're super easy to take out. Yank the radio, then one screw and a clip and is slides out so you can undo the plugs. Super simple.

Nice Sol, man. I can truly say that your car makes me a lot more interested into buying a Del Sol than I ever have before.
