gorilla lock lugs fitment
the notes specifically say at the bottom 'not for tuner wheels'.
does that mean size or base type?
currently have rota slipstreams, might these work?

guess i could try calling gorilla in the morning
any recommendations for a secure tuner black 4-lug set?

First thing you should know - the term "acorn" is sometimes erroneously used by people to refer to the ball-shaped seating area that Honda/Acura wheels have (and need lug nuts to match). What acorn actually means is a lug nut which is fairly short, sometimes as short as it is across.
And just to review - The seating area is the area where the wheels come into contact with the lug nuts. Honda/Acura wheels have a ball-shaped seating area, and need lug nuts that also have a ball-shaped seating area. Most aftermarket wheels have a tapered seating area and need lug nuts that also have a tapered seating area. You can find some nice illustrations in the FAQ topic stickied at the top of this forum.
The 71631N wheel locks shown in the link (which you can also see on the Gorilla website here) have a tapered seating area, so they should be used with aftermarket wheels.
On the link, I think I know what they are referring to, and it's not just aftermarket wheels. SOME aftermarket wheels have very narrow diameter holes and clearance above the lug nuts. As a result, you may not be able to use a standard socket on those wheels, and you may even have problems with a thin-walled socket. For those wheels, you may need special tuner lug nuts, which include a tool to use to tighten/loosen them, so that you don't need to have the clearance for a socket inside the wheel holes. I think they are using the term "tuner wheels" to refer to those wheels with limited clearance which require tuner lug nuts.
I don't know whether the Rota Slips have enough clearance for a standard (or thin-walled) socket, or if (OTOH) they need special tuner lug nuts.
Hope this all makes sense.

i dont really want to spend $40 on the tuner mcgard's that i dont really like
i might take a chance on those gorillas

they state for aftermarket wheels, but look exactly the same as the gorillas
