famous igniton switch problem
well i posted a few months ago about a problem, my 94 accord stalled while driving down the road which was only a block from my house, out of the blue cut off. after towing back home -$50- and driving my dakota to work, i got home and it started up, next day the same thing but i still didnt try to drive it. after about 4-5 times starting it up it just stopped starting up, starter wouldnt even turn over, i went to the local dealership and picked up the back piece of the ignition switch that curves around to the side, i opened up the steering wheel column and unpluged the factory and hooked up the new switch part, turned it with a screw driver and the car started right up, later i found out the 2 bolts holdin it in had to be notched for a screw driver to remove and so forth it was replaced and working back the way it should. this post is mostly to help others that may come across the same problem. other problems that have occured are blown raditor at 170k, passanger rubber brake line at 185k, switch part at 196k, starter at 200k, driver at 203k. further parts to be fixed are front motor mount, control arm bushings and balljoints, cv axle and tierod end boots. any suggestions would be appreciated.
