will a 96 accord manual ecu work for a 98 manual accord both with f22's
im asking this because of the immobilizer chip? do the 96 have immobilizers?
im doing a auto to manual swap on a 98 coupe and the local u--pull it has a 96 manual ecu ?? will it work and will i have to do any wiring changes cause of the ecu

Are you sure your 98 Accord has an F22? Must be a swap, I'm pretty sure most 98-02's came with the F23's. If you do have an F22 is it VTEC or Non VTEC? You will need to get the M/T ECU that matches the engine. No the 96 Accord ECU's did not use the immobilizer.
