I just recently got a new job that gave me a company car to run around in, but I forgot about my Accord and over time the battery lost its charge. I decided to jump start the Accord, but to find out the horn and hazard lights like to come on when I make a complete circuit. I removed the fuse for the horn so I wouldn't be the annoying guy from down the street and after I turned the engine, the radio asked me for its code which I had on hand. But this is where my problem starts!

A red flashing light from the dashboard is always on and I cannot remove the automatic stick out of park. I believe the immobilizer theft system is activated. Any insight on how to take care of this so I can get my baby back on the road?

 

If its flashing after you lock the doors most likely the factory alarm. Hitting the unlock button on the clicker should disarm the alarm.
