bike wont start
im pretty new to bikes.
i have a 95 cbr600 & it's pretty hard to start & when it does start it will run for a few min's. i took it around the block & it died & wouldn't start back up again. unless i let it set for a lil while. just like a main relay would on a honda civic. anyone else have this prob?

& whats the best way to clean the carbs ?</TD></TR></TABLE>
let em sit in a solution of water and simple green for a day, or cook em under very low heat in the same solution.
you'll need to replace all the gaskets in the carb--might wanna pick up a F3 manual.
you're also gonna wanna get the carbs sync'd after you do it.

Dont cook the carbs. Just let them soak, after removing ALL the jets.
On the F3 keihins there's no gaskets to replace other than the float bowl gaskets, and most of the time you can reuse those with no issue.
I wouldnt immediately bank the problem on the carbs though. Maybe the fuel tap isnt pulling fuel into the carbs (its vacuum operated). Are you sure there's enough gas in the tank as well?

There's no fuel pump, just a vacuum operated fuel tap.
