crap. the link is dead. i wanna disable that door chime as well. it annoys me to no end.

 

You could try just jumping/disabling the switch in the door jam. Down side is it disables the dome light door setting.

 

from what I hear you can unscrew the switch simply with a philips screw driver, only problem is if you have an alarm system it won't arm when you shut the door

 

there was this same thread 30 min ago. here is what to do. take the plastic peaces off on you ignition colum. then look unted the ignition and you will see a small philips head screw. there should be a small black box there. unscrew the screw and let the thing dangle. and voila no more chime.

 

yea i did that with my crx unscrew the ignition thing and its in there and lil square black box thats the door chime just disable that and your straight.

 

just find the chime and un hook it its some where under the dash
