mini me with p28 ecu run fine?
I owned a 2000 civic coupe dx,about to do a y7/y8 mini me.
wanted to know well the car run fine if i use a virgin manual p28 ecu?
As of why i want to use the p28 ecu because there is no need for knock sensor and fuel pressure tank sensor as the p2p obd2b ecu be looking for.
plus those sensor are pricey.
yes, i am getting the jumper harness to convert obd2b to obd1.

Yeah, a P28 would be your best bet as far as not modifying things goes, though the tables won't be an exact lineup, they'll be pretty damn close.
I would go with a P2P though - the Y8 doesn't have a knock sensor, I don't believe (I could be wrong), and I don't know anythin gabout a fuel tank pressure sensor
- all you need to do is run the wires for the secondary O2 sensor, I believe.
