1994 Honda Del Sol: how to change brake light?
This is my first post and I am sure that it is an easy problem for all of you. My right brake light burnt out and I cannot figure out how to get to it. There is a covering over the area that I can't get out without causing harm. I love my Del Sol and do not want to cause damage if there is some way to avoid it.
Thanks
Thanks
Idk for a del sol, but on my civic you just take all the clips out, there ones you have to push in the middle and then pull it out, and there's ones that you just pry out. Then you should be able to access the brake light from the inside of the trunk
On almost all cars you should be able to see a plastic cover inside your trunk area that is covering the rear taillights. The plastic cover should be the same color as your interior color and it's self explanatory on how to remove it. Once you are able to remove the cover you will see a series of wires. Don't let this scare you, just find the bulb that you think is block and grab onto it's unit and turn it counter-clockwise to remove. the bulb should either come off by turning it counter-clockwise too OR pulling it out. It may sound a bit confusing if you never saw it or work on cars but don't worry, it's easier once you are able to see what I am talking about. We are here to help. Good luck.
