idle control malfuntion??

idle control malfuntion??
took my 02 lx accord to autozone yesterday and ran the comp for that CEL. P0505 was the code that was read and said it was an idle control system malfuntion. How do you resolve this problem? thanx

Have you replaced, loosened, tightened or tinkered with anything in the engine bay recently?
Could be your IACV/rotary air solenoid. I found this online after doing a search for P0505.
It could be dirt or debris keeping your throttle plate open. I'm saying this because you mentioned yesterday that you had some slack in your throttle cable. Could be because the throttle plate is not fully closed. You will have to remove your intake tubing to check that.
