Replacing decal with new one
I need to replace one of the decals off my bike since it got chipped. How can I get it so it sits perfect? Does soapy water work with the sticky part on the back? Thanks for any advice.

You can just put soapy water on the surface and that allows the sticker to be moved around to exactly where you want it without it getting stuck automatically.
Once you get it where you want, you have to have something to push the water out from under the sticker. Decal shops use a plastic type spreader (its like what you get when you order bondo) and its a soft plastic scraper looking thing that will push out the water without tearing up the decal.
Biggest thing with doing it this way is the thing has to be dry before you can go anywhere. If there is water present (which there will be for a hour or so no matter what) the decal will easily pull right off.
The soapy water is a pain but its the best way to do it and avoid those stupid air bubbles. Good luck!
