rear disc clarification
So basically, EF/EG/EK/DA/DC can all swap rear suspension? (with the exception of the ebrake cables? So basically, I can get rear discs from any 88-00 Civic or 90-01 Integra and it will bolt up to my 89 EF Hatchback DX? I just want to make sure. Thanks.

I believe that the trailing arms are wider on the DA than on the EF, but I haven't measured them myself. The calipers and rotors are the same part number as the Si EF, so they'll work if you can confirm that the trailing arms will fit.
I would suggest that you check the local honda/acura dealership and have a full parts list presented to you for EACH chassis, then compare them. Any discrepancies will have to be dealt with.
Please post the part number differences when you're finished.

DA trailing arms are fine I have them on my car. I have had them on there for over 3 years no issues on the street or on the road courses.

yes, depending on which trailing arms you use, you will need different length cables. In most cases with our EF's, DA ebrake cables will be needed.

i used a set off of a 95 civic ex on my 90 dx. the calipers are alittle different as said above, but they work fine and the hoses reach. i even used the lca's from the 95 so i could hook up my rear sway bar. they were the same length, just looked alittle different(the end near the body curves one way on the originals and the other way on the 95's. but it doesn't hit anything).my camber is fine, and the trailing arms fit great. i know some of the guys stated some of this stuff above, but i was amazed at how much stuff was the same or fit like original.
i forgot to mention that they were abs as well. i just removed the sensors.

I HAVE 90 EX 4DR WITH 2000 SI DISC BRAKES IN THE BACK
E-BRAKE CABLE MOUNTS RIGHT UP I USED MY STOCK TRAILING ARM
AN EVERYTHING ELSE OFF THE SI REAR END MOUNTS RIGHT UP
E-BRAKE CABLE MOUNTS RIGHT UP I USED MY STOCK TRAILING ARM

so just to be annoying and safe the rear trailing arms off of a 92 si hatch will work on my ef? and as for the prop. valve i'd just have to get a prop. valve for an si then? or for a da?

Certain LCA/shock combinations. 87-88 ED LCA's are different to 89-91, So you would have to swap LCA's if you had purchased shockies.

i just did this on my 89sedan, the only thing majorly different geometrically was the toe adjusting arm (i guess that's what you'd call it?) i used 95 integra coupe complete rear disc, but the arms i'm talking about were pretty substantially shorter. i just used the original ones off my car. works great
If you want to save the headache and start another one ( cuz the bolts can be a Pain) just unbolt the disc/ hub off the trailing arm.
Also if you have a CRX or HB, Im pretty sure the DA cables are to long. You need CRX si cables or another EF cables other then sedan that has rear disc. (Si models)

Do you know what size the Torx bolts are to unbolt the hub off of the trailing arm? It seems like every size I have wants to strip the head out.
You're correct on the length of the cables. The DA cables are perfect for an EF 4dr, but you kind of have to be creative to take up the slack in the HB/CRX cars.

I think its a T50 Torx they are loc tited in so hit them with some heat to break it down then try that
