i got a tranny that 2nd and 3rd grinds, so im trying to change the gears. i gopt another tranny that the shell broke so im trying to put those gears on mines ANY ONE KNOW HOW CAN I DO THIS

 

Long story short, you need to buy a Helms manual.

From what I can remember (it's been years since I dropped a trans out of a car and swapped the guts in them):

Remove the tranny from the car
Remove the 3 bolts with the little ball bearings under them
Remove the VSS and the reverse sensor
Remove the cap at the end of the tranny that you can get out with the 3/8 inch ratchet
Hold the snap ring under that cap open and slide the trans cover up and off.

That's way oversimplified and I may have missed something, but that's the long and short of it.

I just rebuilt my S80 JDM Type R transmission... It seems extremely hard and confusing but once you get it apart, its really not that bad.

 

so just have to take all the bolts around it
