Yeah, i know it's the ITR forum, but i'm coming back to the honda side tomorrow after selling my itr, i miss vtec too much, but this forum was,and is home to me back to the question at hand...the setup is b16a2 longblock, ctr pistons, machined and balanced rods, Skunk valve springs, Skunk titanium retainers. How high do you think i can go?

I'd have no qualms about taking it up to 9000 rpm.

That's what i was thinking, but i've heard from a couple people that it'd be good to 9500. When i order my ECU i'm thinking of having the limiter set at 9200 or so to be safe

9200 sounds good.

They probably are good up to 9500 rpm. But I'd only feel absolutely comfortable running Eibachs or Todas that high.

Heh i pick up the car tomorrow, the new ecu is a little bit off, need cams that will make power that high first, right now it's running JDM ITR cams. probably just going to put some skunk stage 2's in it.

Be careful.

Realtime reported floating the valves at above 9100 rpm.
