Default Headlights

My headlights are all fogged up cus im guessing the seal is somewhere leaking. Was wondering if it would be worth it to just buy new headlights and if so where? and what type? ive seen some pretty sick looking ones and no one seems to post where they got them.

try ebay. There's probably jdm knockoffs somewhere that fit well and are half the price.

When I got my 02 they had a set of Ebay Type R headlamps and they sucked. Hard. The plastic they used was cheap and chipped and scratched easily, they didn't fit well, and overall they looked cheap.

Take your stock lights, bake them, separate them, clean them, and then re-seal them. It will cost you $15 tops, and they will be good again. Either that or look around for some stock replacements here, ebay, or EP hatch. I got a set of stock 03's for $150.

those first one is the 04-05 replicas that are made by DEPO. I haven't really heard anything bad about them yet. Maybe someone else has but that is usually how much they go for. If you have an 02-03 then you'll have to modify your harness though. I just hate how the second one looks so i wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

i would try clearing them first. since you look like you are already in the market of buying new ones, if you mess up, youre really not out much.

To clear them, get some 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit sandpaper and some mcguires plasticX. Start with the 1000 grit wetsand going across the lense. The will start to scratch, but dont worry. After you have covered the lense in 1000, repeat with 1500 and then 2000, both wetsand. After the 2000, rub some plasticX onto the lense and if you have a buffer, use this to really get them to shine. When all is said and done, I would recommend hitting the lenses with some rainx, just as a protectant, since you sanded off the uv protection layer.

If it appears that there is hazing on the inside, pull off the lense and repeat the above steps, minus the rainx

Don't buy fake headlights. Trust me, you will regret it. If you are having problems with leaky seals....just wait.

I'm kinda thinking about selling my set bc the fitting are different for mine ep then urs. But thats up to you. Later-

I have them on my EP. They were on there when i bought the car. They good as far as fitment and quality, just not really my style. They have that angel eyes look to them, people either love em or hate em. I can post day and night pictures if your really interested, LMK.
