JDM EF8 Rear bumper support onto a usdm rear bumper cover. Possible?

Are the bumper mounts in the same spot?

My 88 hf rear bumper support is bent and badly rusted and I'm wondering if the jdm piece is a potential fix.

i dunno if that will work my ef9 rear bumper support is just 2 hoops connected to the bumper cover not a cross bar like usdm im not sure if ef8 is the same.

I just bit the bullet on an EF7 complete rear bumper from HMO.

If the usdm cover isn't too trashed I may still try to swap it over.

If not I'm just painting the jdm one.
