Default type R pistons

simple question these will fit in my b18c1 correct. and will give me a compression around 10.8 like the type R.

also I found this mind boggling, maybe someone can check this out as well but on hondapartsunlimited I was looking at type R pistons 1998 type R and they are only 40 bucks a piston?? is that right with the wrist pin. and the rings are only 27 a set..

1 last thing going NA would it be worth it to get a b16/typeR head or just keep my C1 and through in some type R cams (which are 287 in and 287 exh) and springs..

thanks guys

Yes they will fit and compression will be the same as a type r.

$40x4=$160 for pistons
$27x4=$108 for rings
=$268

Kinda pricy for pistons.

RSmachines has type r pistons for like $160 rings included.

If you want you can get the b16 pistons from RS. That will get you around 11.5:1 compression. They are like oem, cast pistons. A lot of people here run these!

Why not? This is just as reliable. I am builing an LS block right now with these the RS b16 pistons for my daily driver and I am planning on 28+ mpg.
