Has anybody ever heard of putting a tranny from a 1989 prelude in a CRX? I need a new tranny for my 89 CRX with a ZC16 and found someone selling the prelude tranny saying it will fit with a civic setup. I think the stock engine for an 89 prelude was the B20 so the tranny should mount up with other B series or ZC16 but I can't find any definitive info, like gear ratios, spline #'s, flywheel size etc.

Please help!

 

The B20 will not bolt to the ZC. There are adapter plates for D2B.. but this b20 does not fall into this category. Your best bet is to search the marketplace, craigslist, or your local salvage yard.
