im doing a mpfi swap

and my b12 pinout going into my ecu, has a white with red stripe wire coming out of it, i searched all dp-mp posts and it says my car should not have a wire coming from b12

its a 91 dx ecu says 11/28/91 for the date

should i cut this and wire it as ....

i have the correct pinouts counting over, because ive checked colors, left to right, and i still have a white with red wire in b12

i need help somebody help, this is my only car

Yes.

Some dx ECU's have a wire there and some don't.

 

got it running, now but my FITV is not hooked up

the plug is square and my engine harness plug for the dp one is round,



does anyone know which wires go to where? theres 2 from each plug

I ran into the same problem, just use it as needed for the swap.

 

im pretty sure thats not the fit valve could be wrong, anyway the wires are reversable

 

i wired it in and it seemed to help, no codes, but when i pull up to a red light or stop sudden it takes awhile for my idel to drop down from 2k to 1k for example

any ideas?
