Default Engine sound

Im getting a sound that is only heard around 2,500 RPM's, it sounds like its maybe the timing chain. Anyone have this problem? Still runs good, timing chain looks good. Anything i can do to fix this?

I think I have the same sound. I'm fairly sure its just a symptom of having a chain instead of a belt. More mechanical noise from the engine. I've always thought it sounds kind of exotic, so its never really bothered me.

Is it a kind of "whine?"

I get that a lot in 2nd and love it. With a box style intake (or stock) it's louder.
