So i picked up my 95 civic hatch last night. Clean b16 4-1 header with straight piping to the muffler. I drove it from LA to Sacramento so 6 hours 420 miles. Thing ran amazing, no complaints. I went to work got off drove home, everythings cool, turn it off. One of my buddies wanted a ride. Couldnt have been more then 3 minutes after i shut it off. Car wont start. Lights turn on radio works, it wont even attempt to turn over though, fan just comes on after a few seconds. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, especially my second day owning it.

all lights and radio work, it would be worth checking though. anything else??

 

assuming its stick shift, try push starting it...could be your starter getting stuck if your battery isnt dead.

 

ya im gonna try that tomarrow, when its light. Im hoping it has something to do with the starter or alternator though, any other possibilities?

 

can you hear your fuel pump coming on?

have someone hit the starter with a hammer then try starting it.

 

ok ill give that a try tomarrow as well. Im really hoping the push start does it. though

 

Oh that happened 2 me, it sucks lol, it fixed itself somehow and my car is an automatic, i just kept trying to turn it on cuz i got mad when it didnt start and after a while of trying boom it turned on lol
