Timing help?
So, I just got my head rebuilt on my stock 90 crx hf.
I replaced the water pump, timing belt and tensioner. I set the crankshaft pulley at the correct timing mark, and I set the camshaft pulley at the correct mark. I put the belt on and tightened the tensioner. (belt is good and tight) Everything is still good as far as timing marks. So I turn the motor over by the crank pulley and set it back to TDC. The marks are off. Ive tried doing this about 10 different times. No luck. Can anyone help me. I need to get this car running. Thanks.
Oh, and the helms book sucks as far as changing a timing belt.
