shift cable removal help automatic trans
i have a 91 honda accord ex i need some intructions or help on how to remove the shift cable off of a automatic transmission to b able to pull out the trans...? and special tools and help will b awsome thanks
Where the cable enters the transmission is a cover held on with 3-12mm bolts.
When it is removed you will see that the cable end is held into the shift arm with a pin that has a plate on it. That plate is held in place with a small cotter pin.
Be sure to unhook the Speed Sensor connector BEFORE you drop the trans out.
