JDM bumper sensor wth?
The jdm integra's had a back up sensor that would alert you if you were backing up into something. The guy I bought my car from installed the switch that goes with it, but not the sensor. It's located next to the parking brake.
That lil' guy is for a JDM climate control unit. It's an outside temp sensor, there is also one inside the car. Since with a lot of JDM cars you have the option of keeping the inside temp at a certain degree.
i doubt it's a proximity sensor, it looks more like a temp sensor like "Circusraven" said. if it is climate control sensor than Honda definitely chose a bad location right by radiator, wouldn't it read incorrect temp
