Default my civic sounds like a truck?

in the morning, i thought my car sounded a little loud when it was idling. unfortunately, i had to drive 300 miles back home today. on the way home, the car got louder and louder. now, it basically sounds like a very large truck. my car is completely stock besides whale ***** intake, suspension and exterior mods. i'm thinking either the intake or header is F'ed? i heard something fall off during the trip back, but i'm not sure if something either fell off or i ran something over. any suggestions?

my car basically sounds like i have a 3 inch exhaust.. even though it's stock

Get under the car and check out your exhaust, see if its rusted off/out in places or what happened.

Just look at the exhaust and find where the sound is coming from, simple enough

probably the gasket between the header and exhaust, but really it could be anything.

start the car and put your hand around every exhaust connector, if you feel warm air, thats your leak, I just had a leak sprout up today and found it in about 10 secs

did you look to see if maybe your muffler is what fell off? im sure its just a rusted out section of your exhaust. Time for a new catback maybe?

i didn't think i would have the time to check it out but i did. it was exactly as what you said. following the sound worked great. i blame the damn lowered suspension and steep driveways in humboldt county. thanks for all the input guys!
