as some of you in the s2k forum know...i wrecked my s2k last weekend up angeles crest highway.

here is the last "photoshoot" that I did with my car...

it's missing some pieces on the front end because I hadn't picked them up from the body shop yet (resprayed front bumper)

 

do you have pictures of the sad day?

I haven't taken any yet. My car was towed to my friend's house because I didn't want to look at it everyday.

Cliffs of how I crashed: Went around corner, got on throttle too early on the exit, rear end kicked out, and the rest is history.

I don't like to argue but how are you gonna wreck both of my cousins' cars?

haha, promise I won't buy the yellow ITR. ... besides, I had the DC2 fixed

Both times were on Angeles Crest.

I don't have a good history up there, but keep going back. Something about that road...

Yeah I'm lucky there was a guardrail there. The airbag didn't even go off. Just had some minor whiplash...

2 crashes and you still havnt learned? Its about time to take it to the track where its enclosed and safe for you and the people around you.

Yeah, I agree

 

Even if I did track days, I'd still go up there. It's not like going to the track would make me not want to drive up ACH anymore...

you guys are dumb...i wasn't even "running" it that day. I never take turns hard on the way down the mountain.

Angeles Crest is a scenic mountain drive that's fun to cruise. You can never compare driving on a desert track (willow springs) or driving on an oval track (cali speedway) to a drive in the mountains. It's not even close to the same due to the surroundings...besides I never had an intention to take my car to the track the way it was set up. It was built to be a fun car to cruise around in.

Engine is stock and car was on all season Falken Ziex tires that I wouldn't drive 100% on...

Seibon Carbon Fiber +10mm, painted, with custom cutout for ferrari sidemarkers that I never got around to ordering.

 

I wish that filter on most of the pictures hadn't =been applied. Yellowish?

haha almost exact same way i crashed my civic up in anglest crest. but i oversteered and the counter whipped out my rear too fast.

 

btw no offense but Falken Ziex on a s2k? You are a cheapass.

It's a street car dude...

they came on the wheels when I bought them and they are all seasons that last long which I need, due to my aggressive alignment.
