Yea. ALL about your liking of the ep3 or rsx. Im pretty sure everyone with DC5 in there username will pick the rsx. And Everyone with Si or EP in their name will pick an ep3. haa.. PERSONALLY. I wouldnt mind either, Although would prefer my ep3 over a dc5 anyday, Simply because my girlfriend owns a base rsx

that is dumb thou, that is the same motor, different body, the reason people buy the rsx is because of the motor, well for the most part. body styling ftmftw

 

k20a2 is from the 02-04 rsx-s
k20z1 is from the 05-06 rsx-s
k20z3 is from the 06+ civic si

as for the best, the k20z1 is because it has the best factory bolt ons

the differences are more agressive cams from the a2 to the z1 and better IM from z1 to z3

 

ok lets get this straight first off if you want a real fast car DC5 is the best y because EP3 only has 160 rsx type s is 210hp with the z1 motor and a2 motor is 201 hp if u want a stronger motor rsx type s is the way to go if u want more of a handling car then pick up an ep3

Que? Did you even read the title?

The RSX A3 has a little more torque due to the design of the intake manifold if I remember correctly. The RSX weighs in at 2720 and the EP 2652 (google search, 2004 models), so there will be a little difference there. The RSX is 5 lug, but the 02-03 EP is 4 lug but the 04-05 is 5 lug as well...not sure about brake sizes between the EP and RSX though...

Overall I think it is more about which car you like the looks of better.

They are exactly the same. The ONLY rotor size difference between rsx's/ep3's is the type-s has the 11.8" front.

i'm from poland and in europe ep3 is civic type r with k20a2 - 200hp, 5lug 11.8 rotor

lets not forget there are differences such as flywheel weights between years and such =P

ep3 VS.base rsx is what hes talking about. As for the handling between the rsx and ep3 I would probly say that the rsx is a better handler. Our ep3s are like fat Mice.. and stock, dont take corners the best

 

The DC5 and EP3 bodies are so similar it isn't even worth arguing which handles better.
