Migs, I've been looking for 5 months now and nothing. California is one of the worst markets for this car. Oh well, I've complained enough in the first 2 months to last the rest of the year....the search continues.

 

Damn, $38k!!??? Thats an Atlanta phone #, I havent seen that car around here, thats for sure.

Theres one in Fremont, he's asking 33,000.

 

I drove 500 miles to pick up my R last month. 01 PY with 1400 miles for $25K.

 

Yoshi: I was on autotrader today and noticed a car in st. louis for sale by a dealer with same mileage as the one i've been looking at. It turns out the vin#'s matched, so the guy sold it to a dealer, and the price jumped almost 5k now that the dealer is selling it.

if it was original motor i'd say sure.

 

you're joking right? 38,000 for an itr with any motor is too expensive... FAR too expensive.

Just wondering...I still feel twinges of pain because I miss my car. But then I have another one to give me comfort, luckily.

Gansan, I always show respect towards people and I am quite positive I did not laugh at you or your price. I might have suggested that it was a bit much for my wallet, but never would I criticize you over the selling price of your car. Its your car, how far would it get me and what would I gain out of laughing at you? I do apologize if thats the way my response came across, but believe me when I say that I had no intention of my response conveying that type of message.

I was at acura geting my free service and they had a type R in the show room with almost 30k miles and they were asking $25,999 for it. I payed 21 at the same dealership and mine was brand new.

 

damn, 770 is either Atlanta or Alaska....

 

I actually met the owner of that car in Panama City Beach over the 4th of July, stood around and chatted him for a couple of minutes, the car is pretty nice and the motor sounded nice too, I thought he told me he was trying to get 34 for it, either way its too damn expensive

 

Maybe he wants 25 so hes asking 35?

 

Dayam he's asking more than me and MINE is so much better than his. Geesh...whoever buys this car for that price is a moron and don't know.

 

IT says 'built motor', not REbuilt, but still--38k is just silly. And the crackhead hood?! Eesh.

R's might fetch that kind of coin in another 10 years, but not yet. There are plenty of them for sale (just look at all the 'selling my R' posts on this board), so it's not like they are unattainable yet.

I know what you are saying.. After a LONG search, I found mine in Az, and for a LOT less then what they are asking for that one. You can find them in Ca, but most are overpriced... BTW, South Coast Acura has two of them right now..., but as stated before, they are asking too much, not to mention they are not in very good condition.. Good luck with your search. Be patient, and you will be rewarded!

 

AHHH c'mon he said theres "too many mods to list"! That car owner is really nuts... He shouldn't part with the car at all if he's gonna try and sell for that price!
