ok, so i drove from savannah to texas alll yesterday, and the car ran fine all through the trip. so i get it back home and park it. my sister goes to mve the car and it wont start, no lights , nothing. nothing clicks on. this is the first time this is happened. she tells me this when wake up. so i go out there and try to start it up, but i do notice when i get in the car, the light turns on above me. so i put the key in the ignition, and it beeps. but then as soon as i start to crank it slightly, it dies again an di have gotten nothing since then. well i tried to jump the car and by accident, i mixed up the pos and negative and got a mega spark. so i thot i blew a fuse, and checked em all. the battery fuse is good and so are all the fuses are good as well. when i tried to jump it again, i got nothing. nothing started. can some one enlighten me on whats going on? im about to get the battery tested but until then, if someone can help me on what the deal is, that would be great.

 

well crap .... i would prolly just go get a new battery, but did you check the cables and make sure they are tight ?

 

does starter turn? mine wouldnt start or crank or anything because my started had gotten stuck. Had to hit it a few times while buddy started it and got it going

 

yea the starter turns. and the cables are tight. i had to pry them off to get them off the battery. so its probaably the battery then?

 

If it was the battery you should still be able to jumpstart it? Is it manual? try push start.. If not cheapest and first thing get battery checked and charged..

 

if you had to pry off the cables off the terminals then the terminals and cables are probably dirty so take a wire brush and clean them off so you can get a better connection let me no if that works (there might be corrsion coming from the terminals and cables)

 

i did clean the terminals with a wire brush cuz there was some corrosion on them but still wont start, im about to go and get it tested to see whats up
