Default *** Successful raffle to support SC racing at MIR ***

Thank you BOTI & MIR for letting this take place !!!

It was a success !! We sold almost 100 tickets.

Francisco Pietri from RPRacing was the $50 winner from the teched drivers pot.
Brian Ballard from CSI Racing was a $25 winner
There was another driver from NJ that was a $25 winner, I didn't get his name though so I apologize.

I have learned a few things and am hoping to do this at Summer Slam next weekend if E-town will let me.

Thank you CSI Racing & Nyce1's for donating tee shirts that were given out as prizes also.

You figured it out. He paid me $45 to pick his ticket for the $50 prize.
I told him I was afraid someone would catch on.

I promise I won't do it again.

haha. yeah right. if i had the power to rig stuff up, don't you think i'd have rigged a lottery or something. haha.

but this was really cool to win. paid for 1/3 my fuel for the day. thankfully MIR is close to home (only 3 hours) so we only used 1.5 tanks.

I think the raffle could have been b etter, but i think you guys did as much as you could.

- You got some good experience and saw that it can and does work.
- Your pit location so far back in the pits killed walker by sales. because you're not selling anything for profit, i would suggest talking to Frank at BOTI, Chris or Dion at NOPI, and whoever is in charge of Vendor booths at any event you want to do. Ask to have a tent/table setup in the midway or near the midway so you can do the raffle sales. I am positive you will see an exponential increase in sales.
-You need to be able to have banners out so it reminds people. I know you had announcements over the PA, but I'll make you guys some banners for next time. just let me know.
-Talk to some potential sponsors also to give $25 or $50 visa cards or gas cards as well. They can write that off easily.

All in all, i think it is an awesome idea and this weekend was a great turnout/experience for the raffle.

Thanks guys.
