i got home the other night and noticed my brake lights would not tun off on my 88 crx dx. even though no one is pushing the pedal down they still stay on. i am still able to turn on an off my head lights and tail lights by the switch on the steering column. my thinking is that it is somthing wrong with the brake pedal itself. does somone know what is going on and how to fix it?
kinda lay in the front seat to look under your dash board .
look at your brake pedal there's a switch up there that should
have a lil point sticking out that you can push in with your finger
if you push it in and have someone see if the brake lights turn off
there's a lil black rubber peice thats posed to be there to trigger
the switched when you let go of the brake just go to local junk yard
and pull it off i hope this is the reason and it helps you out bro
