The past three months I have been hearing a sporadic clicking noise coming from under the center console. I pulled it off the other day because the noise has been getting worse, and I could not find the source. I then left my console cover off and drove around hoping to find the noise, but still no luck.

Ill try to get an audio clip of it today.

Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

Im planning on taking it to the dealership this coming up.

 

If it's coming from under the center console, then it has something to do with the transmission.

x2...you do realize your arm is maybe inches above the transmission while your driving, right

technically, the transmission isn't below your arm, but actually the main transmission sits forward of the shifter. but yeah....the clicking is likely trans or driveshaft related......unless its coming from somewhere else and your location is incorrect
