My car starts up, but sometimes when i turn the key on my fuel pump does not prime and i will have to tap on my main relay to get it to prime up and then it starts with no problem. IS that a bad main relay or some wires loose somewhere? Does a main relay act like that when its going bad?

 

Open up the main relay and check all the solder points. It does sound like a bad main relay.
