Why does my climate control light turn off sometimes when I turn the A/C off? Sometimes its even hard to get the light to come back on, its almost random. On top of that, only the lights on the left side work, not the whole right side of the climate control area. How do I fix this?

Every once in a while you have to knock on the dash to get the light to work.

Mine just stopped working altogether and from what I've read it's a little difficult to replace as you have to remove your stereo to get to the screws below the climate control to remove it.

 

Once you remove the radio, is there much more work to do? Will this be how to replace the bulb? How can a bulb stop working on one side though? I am thinking it is not a normal bulb..

 

Pull out the radio, including the metal brace and the bulbs are on the side of the HVAC controls, they are green or blue. You remove them with a dime or a flat screwdriver. That is for the 99-00 only.

 

Man, I keep forgetting this is not a model specific forum! This is for an EG hatch 92! So the 99-00 doesn't help..
