obd1, d16z6/y8 manifold...and i think a y8 IACV. gt2860rs, plxm300, greddy profec2 boost controller, turbosmart wasegate 7lb spring, crome 1.5, moates ostritch...and pistons rods...other **** thats not important to the question. (if you wanna know ask me i need help!)
like the title says.
me and my buddy were out tuning my car today (first day on the road!!! ) messing with how to get the car to idle properly on crome (not really messing, but trying to figure things out....ya know?)
the civic threw a code 14, intake air control valve, made total sense....i had inconsistent idle 750-1500 rpm, would rev up and down and "buck" forward when i would tap the throttle lightly in 1st gear and 2nd...never went into third. added fuel, added more fuel....idled ok...still threw a 14.
now ive read on how to fix a cel14, but my question is would the IACV on my Y8 manifold be any different than the original Z6? they are both 2 wire....

i did a y8 manifold swap...its pretty common. but you probably knew that.
