Am I missing something? I thought all Honda Hubcaps where fastened to the wheel by the lugnuts. I just got a set of 14" steelies and hubcaps and my lugnuts are not holding them in place.

I assume the issue is with the lug nuts... correct? Is there any way to fasten these without having to purchase new lugnuts from the stealership?

 

There are specific type of lugnuts that you would need. The lugnuts you would need have these little plastic grommets that are attached to them. This is what keeps your hubcaps in place. Using the lugnuts that came with your DX wheels aren't going to work.

You can get the same type of lugs at just about any autoparts store, for example, Autozone.

 

Of you could do what I did, grab some off a junkyard Civic while getting other stuff. I got mine free...
