Currently I am using an Accord 5 speed trans. I chose this transmission specifically for my track needs. I have already added an LSD, ans soon will be changing gear ratios, to be better suited for the dragstrip.

how is the wiring on this project... I'm pretty sure I'll be starting on an accord k-series project. I hope its similar to the civic swaps cause I've been reading those like crazy and know it pretty well. Any part that was crazy hard?

No track times yet...

I have been taking a lot of grief for the whole 160Hp thing, so let me explain my engine choice for you. The CRV cylinder head uses the same exact port that the RSX Type S and TSX use. The CRV head also uses the same valve sizes. This is hope for both NA and boost guys alone.
The difference is in the cam design and how the iVTEC opperation is performed. For my application, the head was right. For NA guys, people are getting 300+ whp (streetable) out of this very CRV engine and it is a lot cheaper than going TSX if you compare dollar for dollar. If you are looking for a stock engine that you intend to leave stock, then the TSX is no doubt a better choice. However, I don't plan to remain stock for any real length of time. Just a cam change will net me about 200whp, before the boost comes into play.

Transmission choice, was based on the fact that I plan to put this car on the track. I will only be using 4 gears at the dragstrip anyway, so an Accord 5speed gearbox will do me just fine. The good thing about the K series transmissions is that the gearing is almost all interchangeable. I have already added a LSD, now I plan to switch to CRV gearing and add a 5.0 final drive. The casing is all I was really after.

I hope this explains a few of my decisions.
