alright sorry for a somewhat dumb question but i was changing my headgasket and forget where or what this hooks up to. the item in question is the nipple on the black box mounted on the fuel rail. here is the picture of what i am talking about

i am also trying to figure out what hose hooks up to the nipple(faces rear of car) that is located on the coolant pipe on the back of the block under the manifold. the reason i do not know these things is because i friend was helping me and he disconnected this stuff, i cant get a hold of him so.....
anyway thanks for any help

 

what motor is this on?

Edit: looked at my motor (D16Y8) and said black box under the fuel rail plugs into this little black cylinder located just to the right of your battery. here's a picture. (plugs into the black circled cylinder, more specifically the yellow circled tube.) hope this helps

yes perfect just what i needed. thanks a lot. mine is a y8 too. i bought this car not running and turns out whoever messed with it before me had that hose hooked up all wrong. the one you showed me wasnt even long enough to reach the black box in question lol. i have one more question, the tensioner for the ps or ac (im not sure) was just laying in the back seat when i got the car. i got the alternator belt on and tight, but the ps belt wont reach/stretch over the crank pulley, and the ac belt is super loose. again thanks for the help
