Is it worth it to get a fuel rail??
As the topic says. Also I will be wanting to run around 14 PSI or so on the track after I done getting the engine built etc, and run 10 PSI street. Thanks in advance. AND yes I used the SEARCH feature.
I'm also interested in this. I plan on boosting 8psi, 10 @ track using RC 440cc injectors and some sort of FPR (or do I need this?) Wouldn't the injectors put a backpressure on the rail? ..or would that backpressure be stocklike?
i have a fuel rail, but i got it so i had a spot to put a fuel pressure gauge...
from what i remember from teh last time this was asked.. the stock rail should be able to support something like 400hp??
you dont need one.. but they do look "neat" and have a spot for a fuel pressure gague..

The stock one can supposedly flow enough fuel for 300 or so HP, give or take.
As for the tap, you can simply use the one and split it with a tee fitting, and have one line go to your FP gauge and the other go to the nitro. Or you could just drill into the stock one and tap it, but I'd only do that for a pressure gauge.
Just out of curiosity, are you planning on having a mechanical or electrical fuel gauge, and is it going to be inside?

The inside of the fuel rail is about the same size as the inside of your factory fuel line, so unless you plan on upgrading that too, I'd pass on it.
actually i gave that one to paul (slowass 4dr) becuase i got a big cnc one for free. i figured i had it, why not lol. btw it doesnt make a difference till 500. Just run big stainless line then some -8 to 1/4 NPT fittings, and if youre really pick you can gun drill it out to 3/8
