b16 distributor type... help
Hey i just bought a 90 integra with a b16 and whoever swapped it didn't wire anything right or put the right parts to make the car run right.... i checked up the numbers on the distributor and its a non v tec distributor..... its a obd 2 and a 99 block so if someone can give me a part number or something to get this motor running right or any suggestions that would be greatley appreciated..... thanks..
if you have an obd1 car and the motor had an obd2 distributor in it, it's not going to work. Get an obd1 vtec distributor for a b16a and go with that. Match the distributor to the engine and year of the car.

Obd1 and obd2 b16a motors are basically the same. The distributors are slightly different and therefore so are the wiring plugs. If you put the obd1 distributor in an obd2 motor, it will still work and plug right into the existing wiring harness.
