Will and ABS 1" MC and Booster work on a non-ABS VX hatch? I am looking new ones to go with a 5 lug, and all I am seeing is 15/16th's and ABS 1" ones?

Anyone? I know with as many 5 lug conversions that have been done, someone has an answer. Do people just not like me?

 

if i knew i would help you. Dont get sad if it doesnt get answered here, try posting it in the itr forum if this is an itr booster that youre going to use in the 5-lug.

 

I am just kidding about the no one liking me thing. I will try the tech forum too. Not sure about the ITR forum since this is no ITR related.

I am using an 97 GSR 1" from an ABS car on my 96 Hatch.

Depending on what car the BB/MC came from will determine if you need a larger flare fitting and bending the lines.

 

Does your hatch have ABS though? That is my real question...can I use an ABS BB/MC in a non-ABS car?

I believe you can, but you will have to re-flare a brake line.

 

All EK hatches are non abs- So yes, I did use it on my car,but did have to reflare a line with a bigger fitting. The standard ones are (10mm-1) and the bigger fitting is a (12mm-1). I just took the 12mm-1 fitting of a car with abs and cut and reflared it onto my line.
