I just got my Del Sol back from being tuned and am hoping to break 40mpg. My current record is 35.6mpg, 85% highway at 70mph.
I am a B-series guy, I have a GSR that is at 182whp/133tq.
So is 121whp/101tq, good or ok?
Is a stock d16 around 100whp on a dynojet?

The car is a 1993, Del Sol Si 220,000 miles on it.
Very, very basic mods.
Greddy Header
Test Pipe
Grounding wires
K&N Filter in the Stock air box
p28 with S300

Next week I will be traveling up to Canada I should be able to find out if I can achieve my goal MPG.

too poor whp, d16z6 engines normaly have 125 whp. stock without mods, so what type of d16 do you have?

 

he said WHP not HP. rated HP is 125 so i think 100 WHP sounds about right from what i've seen/heard
