Here is the story.
Mugen76 brought together the best of both worlds with his red Civic hatchback. Although the US lacks a Civic Type-R, he was determined to make his own. And although this car isn't the real deal, don't pass it off just yet... It is powered by a genuine B16B motor just like the Civic Type-R, it has a Civic Type-R interior and imported Civic Type-R exterior aero parts as well. Added to that is a Mugen rear wing, Fiber Images carbon fiber hood and Zspeed silver hood pins to hold it down at speed. The suspension gets its share of attention as well starting with a Tanabe Sustec Pro coilover system, a Comptech rear lower sway/tie bar combo, Mugen front & rear upper strut bars finished off with Mugen MF-8 16" bronze rims. Dunlop 205/45R16 SP-9000 tires rest at all 4 corners keeping the car stable under any and all driving conditions. Since a fast car needs to stop fast also, Mugen76 has upgraded the brakes to 11.25" Fastbrakes front big brake conversion and 11.3" Fastbrakes rear disc big brake conversion assisted by Brembo cross drilled front and rear rotors and Axxis metal matrix brake pads. Moving on to the interior of the car, noticeable changes have the Type-R touch to them starting with the JDM Recaro Civic Type-R front seats (not shown), and JDM MOMO Civic Type-R steering wheel. Not so noticeable is the Civic Type-R gauge cluster, shift boot and titanium shifter ****. Sticking with the Type-R & Mugen theme, the pedals have been replaced with Mugen racing pedals. Now down to the nitty gritty... The most important part of a sporty ride is the power under the hood and this car does not lack in that department either. Fresh from Japan is the cars real Civic Type-R B16B power plant including the matching transmission with factory limited slip differential. Not good enough for him, he added the Mugen valve cover for looks and under that sits the Mugen 4-1 header (not shown). Other Mugen goodies also spot the engine bay from the radiator cap to the head gasket. At the rear you might also spot the Mugen Twin Loop cat-back exhaust system which is only available complete cat-back for the hatchback. A Comptech IceBox air intake system keeps the charge into the engine cool which tops off the list of modifications under the hood. If your still not satisfied with his car, possibly the Eaglite HID system, Alpine audio system or the C's short throw shifter will change your mind but I know I was impressed from the first glimpse.

i think it looks good
but i don't like the idea how ppl just want to mod their cars so that i looks like some good brand car.. like mugen...
and there are so many cars just look like that...
still look good, it just looks like lots of 1000 bill sticking on the car

I especially like the offset license plate location.
me too, how does it work.
me too, how does it work.
but I DO like the offset plate,
I don't think its jdm though as japanesse civics have there plates in the same location as usdm ones.
I'm not gonna pretend to dislike it beacuse its "jdm".
(btw: nice avatar, asterix rocks
)
