Well I was driving back from work and my B18a just started maing a loud tapping noise andas sson as i got off ..it died...I think the motor is gone. So I have a 99 B16 head and a 2001 GSR block in my garage...I need this car ASAP so i can drive it to work.. Not looking for any power because I need it ASAP...was planning on building it but now am forced to just put it all together quick...What would anyone suggest be done on the new motor?..anyone know any problems I might encounter? also any tips on making it reliable but would like to get a little bump of "free hp" from any tricks(thinner headgasket, type r cams.)..help plz!!

 

if you have to put it back together quick do simple stuff i/h/e ect...

 

is it pretty straightforward?...gsr block and b16 head...no problems I might encounter?
