Default 89 civic si with B16 Install

Ok I have a little project going at my house right now that I need to get running so i can take the crx off the road.

I have a 89 civic si. See below.

I'm putting in a B16 with a ls cable tranny. See below.

I'm having a few issues. These are probably really minor but I would like an answer.
I have the 1989 wiring harness and everthing matches up pretty good except the following.

and

In looking at the round plug it looks like it needs to be lengthend to reach the back of the intake manifold. I do not have anywhere for the rectangle plug. On my civic it went to a pressure pot on the back of the manifold. where goes it go on the b16.

also on the ls tranny I have two hoses coming out of the speed sensor where do they hook up or do I use a d series speed sensor.

The sooner I can get this on the road the sooner I can the rex off the road to restore.

Thanks
Rich

On my b18b1 swap i had that same little 2pin connector left over too and at this point its still not connected to anything. I dont have any check engine lights though so i havent worried about it.

As far as that circular 2 pin connector goes, is that the one that went on the side of cylinder head on the old engine? Is that same connector on your b16? i know my b18 had a spot for it on the side of the head. It was a coolant temp sensor. Then there was also 2 spots on the back of the intake using that same connector. one for the EVAP purge control solenoid, and another for the IACV i believe. One should be on your Si harness for the iacv, and should be long enough to reach. The other circular connector will be on your ecu jumper harness and plug into the EVAP purge control solenoid.

The 2 hoses on your manual vss are not needed. they're for power steering i belieive. Just loop the 2 connections together.

I thought the round one was a sensor that is on the back of the intake. It looks like a ivac valve.

I had a feelign that was what to do with the rectangle connector.

Thanks on the hoses.

Yes that rectangular 2pin connector is for the black solenoid that's on the top of the LS manifolds and u already have the the info on the other two pics. iacv and loop two hoses together. good luck.
