My buddy has a 91 Accord LX 5speed that needs a motor. We are trying to find him one that will swap right in or pretty easily. I found one from a 88 will that work? What motor is in the 91 stock? Is it a F20 or f22 like in the later years? I'm not familiar with the early 90's Accords and am not near it to check it out. What years does the new motor need to be out of to work? Thanks.

 

90-93 had the f22 as did the 94-97. u can use a 90-97 accord complete non vetc motor. not sure but u might need to used your old engine harness.

These are the easiest that require little or no modification. Depending on which engine, and from where you buy is how many things you will need to switch over to the new motor.
