my first civic was a apray paint orange 91 hatch with a 97 front end onvertion and fully molded side skirts, (original motor not sure what it was). really bad *** car... i bought it, drove it home, and parked it til the new motor and swap stuff came in ( jdm d15b obd1) of course on the way to the grage where the swap was to be done my brkes go out and i rear end a good buddy of mine and COMPLETELY messed up the custom front end. so the lights got jimmy'd so they would work and so i could drive it legally. i had already spend almost all my money on the wap stuff so we just did the swap and i was gonna worry about the body work later. so we did the swap and i drove it for a few month and then the cluth pedal bracket broke... i opted to just buy a new shell and swap evrything over an that is what i di. so now i have a lovely little 1990 dx hatch with all the good stuff off my old 91 hatch with the wreked front end. now my delima is weather to scrap the 91 with the mesed up front or go through alot of hassel and cash to fix it (cash that could be spent on my new 90 hatch). any thought on the matter? i really wish i had a pic of the 91 with the 97 front end cause it was completely trippy and awsome looking.
but unfortunatly you guys are going to have to imagine, unless osme one can photoshop it. ha. so should i scrap it adn just dump all the money into my DD 90 hatch? what are your thoughts?

i'd definately put your money into the 90 dd hatch. it sounds like a waste of time spending money to fix the hatch with the 97 front end. not to mention that sounds really ugly. I have seen a pic of this done before and its not a pretty thing. the 97 front is way to rounded and the EF chassis is just to boxy to work well with it.
