I came across a problem while trying to install my Ground Controls. I know there's 2 applications for GC...Koni's and Tokico/stock shocks. I'm pretty sure I got the right one because the part number says 4532.01. Now the diameter of the front sleeves would not fit over the silver cap on the Tokico shocks (circled in the picture)

Now my question is, do I remove that silver cap in order to fit the sleeves in? From the looks of it, it won't budge and I am afraid that I might ruin the shocks if I take that off. Someone please helppp! Thanks!

 

oh just stick a flat head under the cap and hit it with a hammer all the way around untill it pops off. really easy and wont cause any problems, be sure to hammer it back on after you have the sleeve on
